WITH only 12 days to go to the grand finals, Miss Tourism International 2013 has kicked into high gear. Contestants will be getting a feel for wheels as they visit the Lotus showroom in the morning to check out luxury sports cars.

Tonight, they will be donning elegant evening wear as they attend the Mah Sing Charity Night, hosted by the Mah Sing Group.

Get acquainted with the young women vying for the coveted title as we feature the next five beauties from Hungary, South Korea, China, Mexico and Sweden.

Hungarian Monica Iulia Dumitrescu, 21, has ambitions to set up her own events planning company.

Standing at 173cm tall, Dumitrescu loves to travel and enjoys swimming.

“I will make use of social media to communicate with the people around me and promote my country’s tourism to the world.”

Korean beauty Noh Kyung Min dreams of making it big as an international model and actress.

“I feel great coming here. Everyone made me feel so welcome that it’s like I’m part of a family now,” said Noh.

The 22-year old Korean stands at 168cm tall and loves cooking.

“Even though it’s not on the schedule, I would love to see Malaysia’s beaches if given the chance.”

At 17 years of age, Ding Wan Ning from China is one of this year’s youngest contestants.

“I am really grateful to have been given the chance to represent Chi-na this year,” said Ding.

“While I am here, I hope to see all the wonders that Malaysia has to offer, especially the beautiful scenery.”
